Personal Struggle
It all began in 2019 when my wife, Jeeva, faced a life-altering cancer diagnosis. We experienced firsthand the overwhelming stress, anxiety, and fear that came along with her treatments.
Identifying Gaps
Driven by the desire to understand and address the gaps in patient care, we delved into a comprehensive study supported by National Science Foundation (NSF). Through interviews with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, we discovered that our experiences were universal and pointed to systemic problems as the root causes for stress, anxiety, and fear.

Innovative Solutions: Developing MyJEEVA
Throughout 2021, we held numerous Design Thinking Workshops, collaborating with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, to explore potential solutions and assess their feasibility.
It was during this process that the idea for MyJEEVA began to take shape—a platform that would translate printed materials into relevant, meaningful, and action-oriented digital documents.
Empowering Patients with Personalized Resources
By securing the Angel funding, we laid the foundation for developing our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in collaboration with the Breast Surgical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. This multi-year organic process allowed us to design virtual groups of healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers whose continuous feedback improved the user experience of the platform and brought us closer to our objective of transforming the patient and caregiver experience.
In the same year, we were privileged to partner with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center for the clinical trial, solidifying the efficacy of MyJEEVA in a real-world setting. The feedback from healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers further fueled our dedication to enhancing the platform.
